I can't even begin to convey how thankful we are that we found Cheryl and Woodland Day Care and Preschool.  My son started going to Woodland when she first opened and stayed until he left for Kindergarten. He was with Cheryl for 3 years.  When I first toured her house, I was amazed! The amount of materials, learning curriculum, fine motor activities, etc that she uses was nothing I had ever seen before at a daycare. Cheryl is constantly investing and introducing new activities, rotating so the kids don't get bored. By the time he left, my son was beyond ready for Kindergarten. He is excelling now thanks to the strong educational jump start he had. Just as importantly, Cheryl and the other children became my son's second family. He loved Cheryl and she loved him. She truely envelops the kids with her love and makes each one free special. Woodland is more than a daycare or preschool, it's a home. I would highly recommend Cheryl to anyone looking for care for their kiddos.

​“We started our daughter at Woodland Daycare when she was 2 years old. She is our first kid and it was so nerve wrecking finding the right person and place for our girl. I had seen a post about Woodland Daycare come across just as we were searching and I could not be more thankful it did. Immediately during our tour I felt such a sense of relief. Cheryl treats every child like her own and is so interactive with them. Our daughter began to talk, potty train and overall be much more comfortable with other people and her speech improved significantly. During 2021, our family went through an extremely hard time. We wanted to make sure our daughter was somewhat shielded to some things we were going through. Cheryl went out of her way to make sure our daughter felt safe and loved and continued to show her support to maintain some normalcy during this time. Cheryl has created an environment that is in the kids best interest for them to learn and grow. The space is clean, fun and she always has the best activities for the kids. Woodland home daycare is incredible! Cheryl, the provider, quickly became like family. Our daughter loves Cheryl! Cheryl"s daycare is a learning environment that is structured, safe, and fun! Kids are always learning and growing in her compassionate environment. We highly recommend!

Cheryl always had a new theme or project that kept the kids so excited to go to "school" everyday! She loves each child like her own and makes sure they are prepared to enter kindergarten with an understanding of the content and structure expected. Our daughter continues to be at the top of her class this year in kindergarten and is loving school because she knew what to expect and is thriving. Her only complaint is that Cheryl's was more fun, and there were better art projects.
